Breaking News! – This blog, an extension of the Agribusiness Society of  UWI, recently won in the Youth in Agriculture Blog Competition, hosted by the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA). The CTA is a joint international institution of the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group of States and the European Union (EU).

Their mission is to advance food and nutritional security, increase prosperity and encourage sound natural resource management in ACP countries. They provide access to information and knowledge, facilitate policy dialogue and strengthen the capacity of agricultural and rural development institutions and communities.

The blog written by Keron Bascombe, (yours truly!) the Marketing and Communications Officer for the Agribusiness Society of UWI 2011 – 2012, won in the institutional category for Caribbean Region as the competition was throughout the ACP Countries.
