OUR STORY

Tech4Agri isn’t just another agribusiness.

We’re a social enterprise with a purpose, here to create impact that goes beyond profit. We believe that prosperity and people belong on equal ground, and we’re here to prove that it’s possible to do well by doing good.

Based in Trinidad and Tobago, we’re taking on a bold mission in a place where social enterprises are still the exception, not the norm. But that’s precisely why we’re here—to challenge the status quo. Our mission is to use media, journalism, and powerful communication to elevate agriculture and its people, empowering every stakeholder to thrive.

Meet Our Founder

Keron doesn’t just talk about change; he drives it. With a background as President of the Agribusiness Society of UWI and roles on multiple leadership boards like Young Professionals for Agricultural Development (YPARD) and the Global Forum on Agricultural Research and Innovation (GFAiR), Keron has advocated for young people in agriculture on a global stage. And as a  Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellow and member of the Entrepreneurship Hub of T&T, he’s connected to a community of leaders working toward real solutions.

Why We’re Here—And Where We’re Going

The world’s shifting, and so are we. With digital agriculture projects and agri-journalism, we’re not just creating opportunities—we’re empowering vulnerable communities, fostering innovation, and building lasting partnerships throughout the Caribbean. Our focus is on a future that puts people first, creating stability, opportunity, and growth.

Tech4Agri isn’t here to follow trends. We’re here to set them. And we’re just getting started.

Our current situation:

Buiilding Resilience through Food, Media, and Innovation

The ongoing pandemic has underscored the critical importance of locally-produced food. As the one true basic need, food remains at the heart of our survival and prosperity. Yet, efforts to revive our hard-hit economies have often been short-term and lacked substantial impact. At the same time, our country—and the wider region—continues to grapple with the challenges of digital transformation.

In response, Tech4Agri has shifted its focus to mobile media production, creating powerful visuals highlighting the importance of ground-level agriculture. Through our diverse media and entrepreneurial projects, we are committed to a long-term mission to document the food systems we depend on, spread essential knowledge, and foster a healthy, sustainable agribusiness ecosystem.

Amid global economic challenges and the urgent need for food security and digital adaptation, Tech4Agri has stepped up. We’ve partnered with the International Federation of Agricultural Journalists (IFAJ), the Caribbean Media Corporation, and the CABI Caribbean Office to uphold global standards of quality and credibility. These partnerships strengthen our work and demonstrate our commitment to excellence and impact.

With over 12 years of experience in local, regional, and international agriculture, we are uniquely positioned to guide stakeholders in adapting to this new age. Together, we can build resilience and create lasting change. Your role in this transformation is vital, and we deeply value your contributions.

Testimonials

Some Genuine Words from our Clients

Tech4agri is one of the most innovative agricultural concepts I've come across in Trinidad and Tobago. Their work truly exemplifies (& facilitates) some of the interventions needed to develop a modern agro-entrepreneurial ecosystem for young agripreneurs like myself to thrive.

Oje Alexander Agripreneur, Happy Family Products Ltd

You have been a leader in innovation and sharing in the field of youth and agriculture Keron. A tall tree above the fields. Wishing you continuing success on your journey.

Ian Ivey Strategist, Marcollie Blue

I was fortunate to attend two seminars hosted by Tech4agri. This has helped me see social media as an alternative outlet to do marketing in a structured way. I also gained lots of practical information in terms of finding support to take my business to the next level. Thank you Keron and team for such informative sessions.

Delian Richards Agroprocessor, Just D's Products

Tech4agri is doing excellent work in making young farmers known via media coverage. I always say, in our country there is a lot of youth with the potential to feed our country in the future but no one knows of them. The only way to make these farmers known is through agri journalism.

Curtis Carabai Farmer, Carabai Fresh Produce Ltd

In 2019, one of our Shell LiveWIRE graduates was shortlisted for the Shell LiveWIRE Top Ten Innovators Competition. We needed a promo video for public voting. Tech4Agri guided us in scripting the video & performed video production and edits. While our candidate did not make it to the finals, we were happy with the quality of video production provided by Tech4Agri.

Danielle Shell Livewire Programme Coordinator, Youth Business Trinidad & Tobago

Tech4agri is an adept group of professionals that continuously produce exceptionally innovative media and media related products & services for the Caribbean agricultural sector.

Robert Birch, PHD, R. ENG, FIAGRE, PMP (Deceased) Lecturer

I learned so much from attending the AgriMediathon 2019. Keron and the Tech4agri team provided such useful information about their work and initiatives both of which are truly innovative. He is always willing to mentor and educate with Tech4agri, doing impactful work in the Agri Journalism space.
