Agrotourism Micro series:
In 2018, Keron and fellow entrepreneur Brent Eversley applied for the #YLAI Reverse Exchange program, an initiative designed to foster international collaboration and learning. This program offers a unique opportunity for American hosts to travel to Trinidad and engage with local entrepreneurs, allowing for a rich exchange of ideas and experiences.
As part of this exchange, we followed the journey of our host from the USA, Anna Kohn, documenting her visit to the Caribbean for the very first time. During her stay, Anna immersed herself in the vibrant culture of Trinidad, explored the local business landscape, and connected with various entrepreneurs to share insights and best practices. The experience not only broadened her perspective but also enriched the lives of everyone involved in the program.
Tech4Agri 360 Sample:
We had the opportunity to visit Lucien Farm, which is managed by Ms. Karen Lucian and her family. Karen plays a dual role as both the principal of Moms Helping Hand and the founder of the Helping Children Grow Foundation (HCGF). Their farm has been instrumental for us, as it served as a testing ground during the final stage of development for our innovative project, Tech4Agri 360.
This farm has hosted various trials and experiments, allowing us to refine our approach and ensure the effectiveness of our technology. The accompanying playlist represents our minimum viable product and has been crucial in earning support from our partners, showcasing our progress.
As we reviewed these previously unseen client videos from the past eight years, it was fascinating to observe the significant improvement in our mobile media skills. Each video reflects the evolution of our techniques and capabilities. This prompts the question: Which of these videos was our first?

Tech4Agri: the webseries
In 2016, Tech4Agri established a dedicated team with the mission of educating young people in agriculture and enhancing the agricultural sector. Despite working with very limited resources, we secured our first small grant, which enabled us to launch an innovative project. We created an informative web series designed to engage young people in agriculture by showcasing best practices, success stories, and valuable insights from industry experts. This series was broadcast on the local channel Synergy TV, reaching a wider audience and fostering a greater appreciation for agriculture among the youth. Through our efforts, we aimed to inspire the next generation to get involved in the agricultural field and contribute to its growth and development.
Welcome to Caribbean Week of Agriculture
During the Caribbean Week of Agriculture in 2016, we had the opportunity to connect with several exceptional agri-entrepreneurs who are making impressive strides in the agricultural sector. These innovative individuals not only run their own successful businesses but also inspire the next generation of agricultural leaders, known as agriyouth.
To support these young entrepreneurs, we are proud to showcase their unique businesses and the products they offer. Each of them brings something special to the table, whether it’s organic farming, sustainable practices, or innovative food products. If you’re interested in learning more about their ventures, you can easily find them on social media platforms with a quick search. Their stories are worth exploring and can inspire anyone looking to make an impact in agriculture.
Testimonials
Some Genuine Words from our Clients
Tech4agri is one of the most innovative agricultural concepts I've come across in Trinidad and Tobago. Their work truly exemplifies (& facilitates) some of the interventions needed to develop a modern agro-entrepreneurial ecosystem for young agripreneurs like myself to thrive.

I was fortunate to attend two seminars hosted by Tech4agri. This has helped me see social media as an alternative outlet to do marketing in a structured way. I also gained lots of practical information in terms of finding support to take my business to the next level. Thank you Keron and team for such informative sessions.

Tech4agri is doing excellent work in making young farmers known via media coverage. I always say, in our country there is a lot of youth with the potential to feed our country in the future but no one knows of them. The only way to make these farmers known is through agri journalism.

In 2019, one of our Shell LiveWIRE graduates was shortlisted for the Shell LiveWIRE Top Ten Innovators Competition. We needed a promo video for public voting. Tech4Agri guided us in scripting the video & performed video production and edits. While our candidate did not make it to the finals, we were happy with the quality of video production provided by Tech4Agri.

I learned so much from attending the AgriMediathon 2019. Keron and the Tech4agri team provided such useful information about their work and initiatives both of which are truly innovative. He is always willing to mentor and educate with Tech4agri, doing impactful work in the Agri Journalism space.
